Nov 11, 2009 · i have an apple tv and i would like to use it as Time capsule. basically to mount the apple tv hard drive on my macbook. so this way when i open time machine i will have the apple tv hard drive listed there so i can back up my stuff from the macbook to the hard drive of apple tv. (excatly like Time capsule) thank you guys in advence!

My previous time capsule (3rd gen) was still going strong after 8 or 9 years when I decided to update to the 5th Gen. The current 5th Gen is working perfectly after 9 months, As is the Airport Extreme 6th Gen I bought at the same time. I installed infuse 4 on my 4th gen apple TV. I connected my time capsule to the app. and it says folder is empty. There are 100s of mp4 files there. apple tv can play all files using the computer and itunes. but infuse is blind. – Knows Not Much Sep 8 '16 at 2:35
