Apr 18, 2007 · Is anyone else having problems with a very slow internet connection with Virgin Media? We have the 10meg package but it is slower at the moment than years ago when we had dial up. It's been like this for the last two days. I am in Hertfordshire.
Got a new Virgin Media package for my new place yesterday. On an M350 Broadband only package. Connected via wifi on my phone, using speedtest.net I get 350-380 down, whereas I connect via ethernet to the hub and I get a max of 150 down. I have checked all cables, ports, local connections, all running at 1Gbps so no issues in connection to it. I have 10mb virgin media internet service running through cable modem attached to a Belkin wireless router (F5D7231-4) with cat5 that feeds to 4 wireless laptops. We frequently have the service dropping out at least once each evening but often 2 or 3 times. A router reset always resolves the problem. Oct 11, 2012 · One of the most common internet problems is a slow internet. This problem you can have with any internet provider, so it is not a Virgin Media specific problem. So what can you do to if you are dealing with connection or performance problems when you have Virgin Media as provider. My experience with Virgin media has actually been very good. Broadband and TV have never failed once in over a year now. The TV box is a bit buggy AND can be slow navigating menus ETC but it does work well. Positive experience and for me customer service was not really an issue as I did nt need to contact for faults etc

I have tested the internet on my old laptop both on WIFI and Wired to fine i get 100 MBPS on Wired and 90 on WiFi. This to me
